DISEMBARKING

  • Go to the international baggage claim area. Check if you have a national or international connection.
  • Once you pass immigration, you must pay the airport tax (TUUA) on the second level of the airport if you wish to go back into the boarding area.

3. CUSTOMS CHECKPOINT

  • Show the customs form, properly filled out, with your passport. One form per family.
  • Check all the items that must be declared on the form.
  • If you do not have a form, you can ask the Customs staff for one. To find more information about the rules that apply to entering goods into the country as part of your baggage, which goods are not subjected to taxes, and the form for Sworn Declaration of Baggage, among others, can be found at the following link.
  • The National Agricultural Health Service (SENASA for its acronym in Spanish) is a State entity that authorizes the transfer of animals to other countries. Check the necessary requirements to enter or exit the country with animals. To exit the country with pets, it is necessary to make a payment to the National Bank (Banco de la Nación), according to each particular case, have the animal’s vaccination and health certificate, and pass an inspection in the SENASA offices located at the Airport.   • - The National Service of Forests and Wild Fauna is a decentralized public organism with the Ministry of Agriculture which oversees taking the necessary actions to ensure the sustainability of natural renewable resources, and to safeguard the conservation of sustainable rural environmental management and wild biodiversity. This entity emits authorizations (export permits, re-export and import, internal transport permits for wildlife, among others). 4. DISEMBARKING

  • If you have checked baggage, you must claim your baggage, head to the check-in area, and drop off your baggage at your airline’s check-in counter. Then pay the airport tax (TUUA) at the windows located on the second level of the terminal (see the fees at the following link). You must then go through the security checkpoint to enter your gate.   • If you do not have baggage and are flying with a different airline than the one you flew into Lima with, you must go to the second level of the terminal and pay the airport tax (TUUA) at the windows (see the fees at the following link). You must then go through the security checkpoint to enter your gate. See procedures for passengers with national departures.
  • If you do not have baggage and are flying with the same airline as the one you flew into Lima with, you must go to the second level and enter through the security checkpoint with your boarding pass and identification document (ID). See procedures for passengers with national departures.
  • If you have an international connection, you must follow the procedure for passengers with international departures.
